Liberate your loft
Our shops are always delighted to accept donations of quality undamaged items that you no longer want. Our shop teams are trained to make as much money as possible from your generosity to fund Veterans at Ease’s crucial therapy work with beneficiaries from across the North East.
Items that sell particularly well are current fashion trends, children’s toys, furniture and electricals. However, we accept so much more as you can see below.
And if we can’t sell your items in our shops – don’t worry! We can usually sell on through our partnership with a Clothing Recycling Company to ensure we make as much money as possible from your generosity.
Clothing &
Accessories
We need large quantities of clothing - Men’s, women’s and children’s – Of all sizes. We also love shoes, handbags, jewellery, scarves, gloves, ties, belts, and anything else you can think of.
Bric-a-Brac
Household items, kitchen crockery, cutlery, pots and pans, ornaments, gadgets, picture frames, unwanted gift sets – you name it, we sell it!
Electricals
We can’t accept white goods like washing machines, fridges and freezers, but all other electricals we’d really appreciate! Lamps, vacuum cleaners, toasters, irons, stereos …
Books, DVDs and Music
With the exception of VHS video cassettes, we’re interested in all forms of books, films and music.
Toys
and Games
Traditional entertainments like puzzles and board games are very popular, as are children’s toys, soft toys and console games.
Furniture
Any furniture donated needs to be in good condition and, in the case of soft furnishings, have the fire safety labels on. Sorry, we can’t accept large flat-packed wardrobes or furniture with pieces missing or broken.
